Rusty Solomon Is From Australia
Rusty Solomon, a veteran of the international energy industry, is currently the chief executive officer of the Universal Energy Corporation. He has over 15 years of experience working in the energy sector and has founded and served at a number of companies. In 1991, Rusty Solomon founded Summit Sales Company and went on to run the company until it was sold to Melbourne Costal Gaming of Melbourne, Australia. He gained first-hand experience of deal making, which has served him well as he continues to be successful in the energy deal-making business over the years.
In 1995, Rusty Solomon set up Vital Electric Energy Company in Australia. and served as managing director of the company. He remained on the job for six years until 2001 when he started another company, Utilities of America in the U.S. During his tenure at Vital Electric Energy Company, Rusty Solomon initiated and implemented some major deals with leading companies in the energy industry such as Next Generation Energy, Texas Electric Company, and National Power Corporation. The deals helped generate an additional power supply of over 15,000 gigawatts in the tight electricity market.
The purpose of Utilities of America, a company that Rusty Solomon launched in the U.S. in 2001, was to take advantage of America’s deregulated energy market that was opening up many business opportunities. Again, he made agreements and formed alliances with many local energy players in many states across the U.S.
When the partnerships with different regional energy companies proved to be less integrated to serve an overall business strategy, Rusty Solomon ventured out to build up his own across-region energy company, called Universal Energy Corporation, that he could use to better explore the energy market opportunities created from U.S. energy deregulations. Looking ahead, the company is going to further increase its market presence in more states and potentially for more deals.
